Radivoje Bukvic

Radivoje "Raša" Bukvić is an actor, screenwriter, and director with an international career spanning European arthouse cinema and major commercial productions. Born in Serbia, he began acting at an early age and first established himself as a theater actor, performing in over 35 stage roles. In 2003, he transitioned to film, where he quickly built a notable screen career.

His international breakthrough came in 2005 with the role of Stefan in Jacques Fieschi’s La Californie. For this performance, Bukvić was nominated for the César Award for Most Promising Actor, which opened the doors to the French film industry and a wider European career. He went on to work extensively in French cinema, particularly in auteur-driven films, gaining recognition for his strong and nuanced performances.
