Biography

Colm Sawyer is a dynamic and talented young performer from Toronto with a passion for dance, singing, and acting. Inspired by his sister, Teagan Sellers, Colm began his journey into the world of entertainment at the age of 7 when he landed his first role in the film Height Markers. This experience ignited his love for the filmmaking process and set him on a path to pursuing his artistic dreams.

Colm trained at Canada's National Ballet School, where he was enrolled in the Young Dancers Intensive Ballet Programme for 5 years. In addition to his ballet training, he hones his vocal skills with singing lessons and as a vocal major at a performing arts school in Toronto. His hard work and talent have earned him significant accolades, including 1st place at the 2023 and 2024 Toronto Kiwanis Music Festival for both Musical Theatre Performance and Pop Song Performance.

In June 2024 Colm starred in the titular role in the world premiere of Tommy Rhodes: A New True Crime Musical. Beyond the stage, Colm enjoys a range of activities. He enjoys playing outside, riding his scooter at the skate-park, doing parkour and stunts at the parkour gym, and when he can he loves doing a variety of circus arts at Academie de Cirque in Montreal. In the warm Canadian summers Colm loves cliff jumping and water sports, and spending a couple of weeks at summer camp to unplug. During the winter, he loves ice skating and snowboarding.
