Biography

Sean Covel was born on March 4, 1976 in Newcastle, Wyoming, USA. He is a producer and director, known for Napoleon Dynamite (2004), Matt Epic and Think Tank (2006). He was previously married to Alexa PenaVega.

Born in Wyoming and raised in the Black Hills ranching/railroading town of Edgemont, South Dakota (pop. 900).

Covel frequently produces films with his fellow USC's Peter Stark classmate, Chris Wyatt (aka Chris "Doc" Wyatt).

Has an undergraduate degree in Broadcast Management and Acting from the University of Nebraska earned in 1998. Studied producing at USC's Peter Stark Producing Program and graduated with an MFA in 2002.

Ex-brother-in-law of Makenzie Vega and Krizia Vega.

Appeared as a contestant on the TV game show The Price Is Right in June of 2006.
