- Joseph Staten is an American video game developer, writer, novelist and voice actor from California who is known for his work at Bungie, particularly the best selling Halo franchise. He also worked on Oni and Microsoft Flight Simulator. He provided the voices for the Grunts in the Halo games. He is married and has two children.
