She has a Diploma in Environmental Studies in which she worked on Vice President Al Gore's project G.L.O.B.E. (1996-1998) & studied Advertising, Art & Design at B.C.I.T. She also worked on comic books as a Digital Colorist Assistant on titles like Witchblade and Rising Stars at Top Cow Comics Inc. in 2005 while living in Hollywood.

She was a somewhat popular YouTube personality in from 2006-2009 starting before the site was done for-profit & corporate, and frequently made art content, animations, commentary, humor, and Vlogging content about inter racial dating, and travels in China, or parts on the USA. Kandice lived in the people's Republic of China several times from 2003-2008, and her actual Chinese name is Ren Siqi.

Kandice is an artist, animator, filmmaker, and has worked on several television, film, and art projects, and is an avid photographer. She worked on several Indie projects, and sports online broadcasting camera-man contractor work from 2016 until present, as well as a what she calls a "Walking Philosopher" (as opposed to an Academic Philosopher, although she did major in Philosophy at UMASS Boston, and is an avid consumer of University lectures, broadcasts, and Podcasts since she was in her 20s), and has an affinity for frequently studying "Eastern Thought" style philosophical concepts such as Laozi's Dao De Jing (Laotzu's Tao Te Ching) and several related topics and fields of interest including Zen/Chan, Chengyu, and Classical Chinese Wenyanwen/Guwén, although she is not an expert in Chinese language she does frequently speak Mandarin Chinese, and can understand Pekingese. At U.Mass Boston, in 2017, her Video Animation Artwork was chosen for the ArtOnTheMarquee.com project by Boston Cyber Arts in the Spring round where her work was featured at the Boston Convention Center.

Kandice's film "Succor Forlorn" was a project she produced & directed entirely on her own, including VFX & Audio Design, as well as writing, acting, and music which was completed in 2019. Most of the source files were completely hacked & destroyed due to a pesky persistent hacking problem and went without a computer from November 1st of 2016 to Mid August of 2020 with a pandemic lock-down in between. Most film festivals which she'd intended to submit the film to were either canceled, postponed, or made rigid restrictive rules forbidding any films that had NOT been completed during the 2020-2021 pandemic.

By mid 2022, these strict rules began to loosen, and she was invited to submit her film to Festivals. Once she did, she started getting scouted online and invitations for Film Festivals began flooding in, and she began winning them. The film has been submitted to over 30 Film Festivals for the Film booked from 2022-2023 nationally and Internationally, including The Hollywood Blvd. Film festival where she won Best Short Experimental.

"Succor Forlorn" has gone on to receive many awards at several Film Festivals, Globally, and continues to get invites for screenings.
