Rosario Minervini(II)

Rosario Minervini was born in Salerno in 1991. After studying philosophy, with a pulsating and never satisfied passion for literature and cinema, he moved to Rome to study cinema at RUFA, where he discovered the passion for documentary cinema. In 2018 he worked in the photography department for various productions, including Where Shadows Fall by Valentina Pedicini, who will later became his teacher at Centro Sperimentale. In 2021 he got degreed at Centro Sperimentale as director with the thesis shortfilm "The truth is fugitive", which was premiered at 'Visioni dal Mondo' winning mentions and awards in various exhibitions around the world. Since 2021 he is part of selection committee for Giffoni Film Festival. Tirrenica (provisional title) is his debut feature doc.
