  • Helen Goldwyn is an actor, director, writer and composer, best known for her directing, writing and voice work with Big Finish Productions, where she has written over 20 audio drama episodes and directed and appeared in over 300. She is the winner of the 2018 One Voice Award for 'Best Radio Performance'.

    Goldwyn attended Arts Educational School where she trained originally in ballet, then musical theatre. In addition to her acting experience, she is a highly experienced singer with a versatile Mezzo voice.

    On-screen, she has appeared in 'The Famous Five', 'Waking the Dead', 'Doctors', 'The Second Quest', 'Final Demand'. Audio drama credits include regular lead roles in 'The Tomorrow People', 'Survivors', 'The Prisoner' and 'Doctor Who'. Her theatre experience spans thirty years and has encompassed plays, musicals, concerts and cabarets in the UK and Internationally. Credits include the 2024 production of 'Fiddler on the Roof' at Regents Park Open Air Theatre, seasons at Chichester Festival Theatre, 'Personals' at Apollo Theatre (West End), 'Macbeth' at Arts Theatre (West End), 'Uncle Vanya' with Renaissance Theatre Company and lead roles in 'Me and My Girl', 'Hello Dolly', 'High Society', 'Summer in the City', 'The Vagina Monologues', 'Abigail's Party', 'The Good Companions', 'Personals', 'My Fair Lady' and 'Romeo and Juliet'.

    Goldwyn's self-penned musical comedy show 'Ladies Go-Diva' debuted at The English Theatre of Hamburg and toured numerous venues and headlined at London's top cabaret venues including Zedels and The Pheasantry. She co-wrote and co-starred in the comedy sketch show pilot 'Skitches' and was a member of professional comedy improv group 'The Funny Women Players'.
