James Rocks was born in Hollywood, Birmingham, UK. He is now based in London, UK.

James began his acting journey studying in the hometown of the infamous 'William Shakespeare' where the prestigious 'Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC)' is based in Stratford-upon-Avon, UK. He has also completed professional acting training at various locations including Midlands Screen Acting School. He is trained in stage and screen acting, screen combat and firearms.

He has performed various stage plays, and appeared in many major TV productions for the likes of Netflix, Apple TV, Prime, BBC and ITV. He has also been cast in feature and short films (with film festival entries and awards).

James also works in the creative industry as a 'Health & Safety' Advisor where he works for ITV Studios and previously for the RSC.
