Biography

Ignacio (Nacho) Mazuecos is originally from Seville, Spain, and is a Key Art and Motion Graphics Designer based in London. He is best known for his work on Hyper: The Stevie Hyper D Story (2024) and Pareidolia (2023). Ignacio specializes in film marketing and title design, having studied various multimedia HND's before moving to London in 2018.

He became Head of Motion Graphics at DMS in 2021, joined Q Cumber Films in 2022, and co-founded Space Detective Productions in 2023 with Kathy Wieczorek. Ignacio and Kathy have supported and produced several projects including Ai: Below the Surface (2021), Bilderflut: Flood of Pictures (2022), and animated films such as Heartshell and Why Don't You See Me?.

Ignacio has worked on localization and marketing campaigns for numerous AAA titles from major studios, but finds the most creative fulfillment in independent film. His independent credits include Lacuna (2025) (dir. Sophie Black; starring Sadie Soverall), While It Lasts (2025) (dir. Paul Romero Mendez; starring Katie Sheridan), and Pareidolia (2023) (dir. Aaron Truss; starring Diane Franklin).

As a passionate gamer and anime fan, Ignacio cites Tetsuya Nomura, Makoto Shinkai and Hayao Miyazaki as major influences, with Your Name. (2016) and Howl's Moving Castle (2004) among his favorite films.
