Biography

Damian Skinner first started as an assistant editor in a commercial post house. Over a four year span Damian was promoted to long format post producer. As a post producer and now feature editor Damian served in roles ranging from editor to Executive Producer on several indie films such as Almost Time, White, American Jesus and Rain Makers.

Damian then founded Real Studios to serve as his development and production company. It was under the Realm Studios banner Damian directed and produced his first feature film Red Ridge. Red Ridge went on to win the New York International Film Festival award for best picture.

Over the next several years Realm Studios and Damian produced and directed music videos, commercials and most notably Forgotten Wars, a documentary series for Brush Fire Films. As well overseeing the development on three more documentary series for Brush Fire Films.

After selling Realm Studios and what Damian calls the "darkest of creative days" Damian took time off to start a family and worked as a creative consultant for agencies such as Richards Group, J. Walter Thompson and many others.

Today Damian develops and produces under his new banner ODD EARTH Studios. With a renewed focus on features and TV Damian is developing and packaging screenplays such as Killer Scent, Silent Dawn, Fight For Them and Turnskin.
