Dr. Janet Frost was born in Oneonta, New York, and grew up outside the city limits on land that abutted several farms. Frost's father was a history professor and later Dean at State College at Oneonta. Frost holds a B.A. from Ohio Wesleyan University, an M.A. from the State University of New York at Binghamton, and a Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut. Dr. Frost resides with her family in Connecticut and Ontario, Canada.
