Recognized by the Grammys in 2013 for his percussion work with Ziggy Marley. Angel Roché Jr. has made a name for himself from the percussion seat, backing the likes of Dave Navarro, Ziggy Marley, Taj Mahal and William Close & The Earth Harp Collective. He was born in Chicago, IL, to Puerto-Rican parents, the eldest of three children. He has two younger
sisters. Angel is a drummer/percussionist, producer, songwriter and film composer. He is also one-half of a songwriting/composing team with his spouse, Zoë Poledouris and their on again off again band Looner.
