Cecilia Pineiro is a Mexican writer, content developer, and actress whose work is rooted in a deep exploration of human complexity, emotional truth, and transformation. Her storytelling is driven by an interest in the inner life of her characters and the invisible forces that shape identity, relationships, and destiny.
She currently works with Televisa-Univision, where she develops original content and adaptations for television, with a focus on character-driven narratives and long-form storytelling. She has also collaborated with NBCUniversal / Telemundo Streaming Studios in the early development of multiple projects.
Earlier in her career, Pineiro co-founded the audiovisual production company Zolking and worked as a producer on international projects, including a Chinese series for Hunan TV. She began her creative path as an actress with TV Azteca, an experience that continues to inform her writing through a strong sense of performance, rhythm, and emotional authenticity.
