Anupam Mittal is a former actor, film producer, and CEO of Shaadi.com.

Mittal tied the knot with his long-time model girlfriend, Aanchal Kumar, in 2013. The couple was introduced by common friends and hit it off instantly. They dated for seven years before getting married at a grand destination wedding in Jaipur.

They have a daughter, Alyssa Mittal.

Mittal began his acting career with the movie Flavors (2003), which was released in 2003. He also worked as the producer for the film. A romantic comedy, the movie focuses on Indian immigrants in America. It received a lot of positive reviews, even on an international level.

In 2009, Mittal was a part of the movie '99 (2009)'. He played a small role in the movie, which was jointly produced by Aditya Shastri and directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K..

After these two movies, Mittal retired from the Bollywood industry and decided to pursue entrepreneurial ventures for which he is known widely. He founded the popular matrimonial website Shaadi in the year 1997.

Shaadi is part of People Group, founded and owned by Mittal, which includes other ventures, including Makaan and Mauj Mobile. His venture proved to be a big hit, and since then, he has invested in many other business ventures, including Ola Cabs and Cafe Zoe.

Mittal also appeared as an investor in the first and second seasons of Shark Tank India (2021). The show is telecasted on Sony TV and is an Indian franchise of the American business reality show Shark Tank America.

Mittal was also featured in two episodes of the comedy reality show, The Kapil Sharma Show (2016).
