Rebecca is a producer with a passion for cinematic story telling. She set up Tyke Films to work with new and exciting voices in the UK. Tyke Films' slate is a mix of genres and formats, developing original pieces and adaptations. Projects include Protect Me from What I Want (2009), a gay interracial love story set in Bradford with award winning writer/director Dominic Leclerc developed on the iFeatures programme.

Tyke Films was selected for Compass, Creative England's business development scheme and in 2014 was selected for Filmonomics, Loco Comedy Training and Triangle.

Rebecca produced the feature documentary Irene's Ghost (2018), directed by award winning director Iain Cunningham with production funding from the BFI, Creative England, the BBC, Wellcome Trust and the Maudsley Charity.

Having worked extensively in production Rebecca moved into feature films working with the likes of Penny Woolcock and Ken Loach. As Development Executive for New Talent at EM Media she delivered the new talent strategy for the East Midlands. As Executive in Charge of production she looked after feature film investments on Shane Meadows' Dead Man's Shoes (2004) and This Is England (2006), Michael Winterbottom's Tristram Shandy (2005), Anton Corbijn's Control (2007), Duane Hopkins' Better Things (2008), along with Keith Fulton, Louis Pepe and Tony Grisoni's Brothers of the Head (2005).

Rebecca was appointed as Managing Executive at Lifesize Pictures where she worked to commission film schemes regionally and nationally for the UK Film Council. These included Talent Lab, Cinema Extreme, Digital Shorts, Digital Nation, Magic Hour, 4Mations and the Completion Fund. She executive produced numerous award-winning shorts including: Pitch Black Heist (2011) directed by John Maclean (BAFTA Short Film Award winner 2012), Chalk (2011) directed by Martina Amati (BIFA Best British Short Award winner 2011), Baby (2010) directed by Daniel Mulloy (winner Edinburgh International Film Festival Best British Short 2010), I Do Air (2009) directed by Martina Amati (BAFTA Short Film Award winner 2010), September (2008) directed by Esther May Campbell (BAFTA 2009 Short Film Award winner), and Jade (2009) directed by Daniel Elliott (Golden Bear winner in Berlin 2009).

Rebecca curated the Virgin Media Shorts competition for 5 yrs and read for Creative England and BBC Writers Room. She is also the talent scout for the NFTS.
