Vinay Wandalkar is an Indian filmmaker, writer, and director based in Maharashtra, and the founder of the independent production house Chitra Vichitra Cinema. Trained in theatre, he has directed short films including Avasthana and Vichar Maithun, both exploring psychological and societal themes. His feature directorial debut, Samsara, an experimental psychological folk-horror, released in 2026. Wandalkar's work is known for emotionally intense, character-driven storytelling and atmosphere and is rooted in the human psyche.
