Nath Purandare

Nath Purandare is an Indian actor-filmmaker based in Los Angeles, USA since 2021. He is an alumnus of the New York Film Academy with the degree of Masters of Fine Arts in Filmmaking. Nath has written and directed films in multiple languages including English, Hindi and Marathi. He has acted in over 20 theatrical productions ranging from one-act plays to full length commercial plays. Purandare's films have received awards such as 'Bronze film of the year' award from Speak Out Short Film Challenge for his work, Behind Closed Doors. His film, The Lucy Effect was selected for the Lift Off Global Network, Filmmaker Sessions in 2023. Nath's latest work, Zameer, starring Jackie Shroff is making its way for the festivals followed by its release in late 2024. Nath has multiple productions lined up through 2024 where, alongside directing and acting he is set to establish himself as a producer too. Nath Purandare's goal is to tell stories of consequence that are equally entertaining and meaningful.
