Biography

Merve Özgünes was born on June 16,1989 in Istanbul, Turkey. Actress, known for the TV series Kara Tahta (2022).

Graduated from Istanbul Aydin University Graphic Design department. Also graduated from Anadolu University Public Relations and Advertising department.

She improved herself by receiving training from actor masters as well as Basic Performing Arts and Cinema Education From Academy 35 and a Half Art House. In addition to her acting education, she contributed to her acting by participating workshops with Psychologist Aysegul Yaprakli such as Psychology of Character in a Scenario and Literary Readings. Özgünes, received Yildiz Technical University (2020) Creative Drama Trainer Training and Story and Storytelling Trainer Training.

While Contiuing her acting career, Özgünes worked as a columnist for the Pressturk News Site (2019 -2022). Özgünes was the Moderator of the program called 'Colors Of Life' every Thursday evening through the social media account 'Youtvizyon' of Serhat Kaya Consultancy Company (2021). Özgünes increased her stage experience by taking part in the play Shakespeare's Birthday Party, along with the amateur short films she took part in. In addition to commercials, she met with the audience by giving life to the character of ' Zuhal Teacher' in the Tv series Kara Tahta (2022), which was broadcast on TRT1 channel, her first TV series experience.
