- Raina is an Australian, American, Ukrainian and Chinese-Malaysian actress, filmmaker and dancer. Coming from a family in the arts industry, Raina is the granddaughter of actor John Shelton, great-niece of producer Julian Ludwig and cousin of writer and musician Rachael Price. Since a very young age, she has been involved in the arts, from dancing to playing to violin, to acting. She attended high school at Wollongong High School Of The Performing Arts where she was part of the dance and drama program. Her love for telling stories that evoke emotion and allow others to feel the raw truth of life and its beauty is what ultimately drives her when acting and creating her own work. She has studied filmmaking, acting, and US dialect at the American Arts Film And Television Academy LA. She performed the lead role in the 2022 Bus Stop Films short film "Ripple" as "Mimi." She also worked as an actress and producer on the short 'A Girl Meets A Boy' as the lead, 'Cassie'. In 2023, produced and starred in her debut short film "Regrettably So" produced by LA-based production company Diversity Entertainment. Recently, Raina has worked on a number of projects in front and behind the camera whilst studying, full-time, Screen and Media and Video Production. One project being 'Listen', the AACTA Sony Pitch in Focus winning short film, playing the lead 'Cleo', the short 'Dear Ocean, I Love You', a queer, coming-of-age film set in the 90s as co-writer, producer and 2nd AC, and the short multi-award winning film 'Carshare' as 2nd AC.
