Biography

Paul Campbell was born on June 22, 1979 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He is an actor and writer, known for Battlestar Galactica (2004), Three Wise Men and a Baby (2022) and The Big Year (2011). He is married to Lorie Campbell. They have one child.

His biggest fear is falling down an up-escalator indefinitely.

Paul Campbell (Billy Keikeya) almost left Battlestar Galactica (2004) after the end of Season One since he wasn't under contract. After his new show didn't work out, he returned for Season Two. The producers asked him to sign a five-year contract. He didn't respond and the producers sensed he wasn't committed to the show. They couldn't write long-term story arcs because they didn't know if Campbell would be available. Thus, they decided to kill off Billy, according to Campbell. Though he appreciates quality TV shows, he is not a science-fiction fan. It was difficult for him to leave the show, but Campbell says it was the right choice.

He's said he wouldn't mind coming back to Battlestar Galactica as a guest star, playing a Cylon.
