  • Kaisa Korhonen was born on July 20, 1941 in Sotkamo, Finland. She was an actress and director, known for Kolme iloista rosvoa (1963), Onnenpeli (1965) and Solveigin laulu (1974). She was married to Matti Rasila and Kaj Chydenius. She died on April 25, 2024 in Helsinki, Finland.

  • She was a central figure in the Finnish leftist music scene of the 1960s and 1970s, appearing both as a solo artist, and with KOM-teatteri.

  • After her singing career, Korhonen became an accomplished director and teacher of theatre directing.
