- Ikenna Okpara likes to describe himself as one who was accidentally educated in the sciences. He holds a BSc. in Building, but being a full time writer trumps every desire and admiration he has for construction. With an MA in Screenwriting from London Film Academy, he further strengthens his commitment to writing and growing in the film industry in general.
In recent years, Ikenna’s works has had the honour of making appearances in film festivals and awards all around the word, such as the British Film Festival (official selection); Florence International Film Festival (official selection); Nollywoodweek Film Festival, Paris (official selection); Toronto International Nollywwod Film Festival (Award winner); Film Festival To Go, New York (official selection); Yampa Valley Film and Sport Festival (Award winner); Best of Nollywood Awards (Best Screenplay Nominee)
When Ikenna isn't writing stuff for the screen, he will be found writing novels.
