Radwa Chahine

Radwa is an award-winning Egyptian screenwriter known for "Ya Farha Ma Tamet/Dance Interrupted" (2024), "Rose & Layla" (2024), "The Devil's Promise/Wa'ad Iblees" (2022), "El Mashhad Al Akheer/The Last Scene" (2021), and "Khareg Al Saitara/Into The Dark" (2021). Radwa's short film "Ya Farha Ma Tamet," in which she both wrote and starred, received the "Best International Film Award" at the Milan Indie Film Festival 2024 and was officially selected for the Berlin Film Week 2024, Vienna International Film Awards 2024, Golden Bridge Istanbul Short Film Festival 2024, Alexandria Mediterranean Film Festival 2024, and Manama Film Festival 2024. The film also garnered an honorable mention from the Los Angeles Movie and Music Video Awards 2024. Radwa made her acting debut in "Rose and Layla," a comedy show directed by British BAFTA winner Adrian Shergold. She is multilingual, speaking Arabic, English, and French, and holds a degree in mass communication. Radwa has attended acting workshops with renowned coaches in London, New York, and Egypt. Additionally, she is a passionate professional Argentinian Tango dancer.
