Biography

Angela Van Tassel began performing in live theatre in her early 20s, primarily with small regional companies and black box venues while she earned a living with a 9-5 job. After retiring from a long career with the US Government, she turned her attention back to her life-long avocation and stepped out into the world of film and television, while still getting on stage at every opportunity. Her most recent film is "This Sunday," a short that deals with addiction and recovery. She is also known for "Lockdown," an award-winning short that addresses a serious social issue. Her most recent stage appearance was as "Harriet" in "POTUS" at Live Arts Theatre in Duluth GA, July 2026.
