While She Sleeps

Forming in 2006, While She Sleeps are a metal/metalcore five-piece band originating from Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Formed of frontman Lawrence Taylor, guitarists: Sean Long and Mat Welsh, bassist Arran McKenzie and drummer Adam Savage. After Taylor joined the band in 2009, they quickly gained attention and a cult following thanks to relentless touring, "The North Stands for Nothing" is the first work to feature Lawrence Taylor as vocalist and catapulted them to further notoriety. Kerrang recognised them as best newcomers in 2012, and since then the Sheffield group have formed an independent label/Patreon system hybrid, known as The Sleeps Society, to sustain professionally.
