Rubén Expósito graduated from the University of Paris VIII (France) with a degree in cinema and performing arts, specializing in script writing, and has developed his film career in Mexico, especially in the areas of executive & line production, and most recently in creative development. He has held the positions of Production Coordinator in films such as Annette (2nd Unit - MX; Leos Carax, 2021), Pobo 'Tzu' (Tania Ximena, Yollotl Alvarado, 2021) and Malintzin 17 (Eugenio Polgovsky, Mara Polgovsky, 2022). In addition, he has worked as Travel & Living and APOC Coordinator for series such as Westworld (HBO, 2021), SWAT (Sony, 2021) and publicity. Within the Executive Production area, he was Production Coordinator at Piano (2019-2021), a Mexican production company dedicated to independent cinema based in Mexico City, where he held the position of Head of Development within the Film department. Within this field, he has carried out the development of feature films such as Leonora in the Morning Light (Thor Klein, 2025), (Luis Ortega, 2024), Noviembre (Tomás Corredor, post production) Graciela Iturbide (Lucía Gajá, post production) and The Meltdown (Manuela Martelli, financing). His last project as a developer and producer, The other shore, by the upcoming director Francesca Canepa, will be release in 2026.
