  • Christos Loulis is an acclaimed actor known for his extensive work across classical theater, international cinema, and television. He initially pursued studies in Economics at the University of Piraeus. However, at age twenty, he shifted his focus to the performing arts, enrolling in the Karolos Koun Art Theatre Drama School, from which he graduated in 1999. Loulis established himself as a prominent figure at the National Theatre of Greece early in his career. In 2003, he received the prestigious Dimitris Horn Award for his theatrical performance. His stage career has included significant international appearances, notably performing in Aeschylus’s The Persians in New York (2006) and participating in the Cultural Olympiad’s Shakespeare Festival at London’s Globe Theatre (2012). He also held a featured role in the opening ceremony of the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. In film, Loulis gained critical recognition at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival, winning the Best Supporting Actor award for Oi sklavoi sta desma tous (2008). He garnered international attention for his portrayal of Yanis Varoufakis in Costa-Gavras’s political drama Adults in the Room (2019). His film credits also include the biographical drama Man of God (2021).
