Biography

Independent filmmaker, PhD candidate in Arts (Cinema) at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), and Master in Arts (Cinema) from the same institution. Founder and director of Tangente Filmes, he directed the series Tambaquari (2025), the medium-length documentary Meninas Curiosas, Mulheres de Futuro (2024), and the documentary short film Arcângelo (2019), which was screened in Brazil and abroad and selected for the Best of Latin America Short Film Festival. In 2016, he directed the fiction short film Noturno Interlúdio. He is also a co-founder and researcher at Moviola - Intersemiotic/Intermedia Research and co-author of articles published in academic and scientific journals in Brazil and abroad.
