Biography

According to Billboard chart statistics, the band is second only to The Beach Boys as the most successful American rock band of all time, in terms of both albums and singles.

The band was formed when a group of DePaul University music students began playing a series of late-night jams at clubs on and off campus.

Despite the personnel changes over the years, the group still keeps active more than 35 years after its founding.

Members have included Peter Cetera, Mark Goldenberg, Robert Lamm, James Pankow, Terry Kath, Walter Parazaider, Lee Loughnane, Danny Seraphine, Don Dacus, Chris Pinnick, Bill Champlin, Jason Scheff, Keith Howland, Tris Imboden

Chicago were awarded a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for Recording at 6438 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California.
