Antonio Palacios Rojo is a film director and writer, also known by the pseudonym Palacio Rojo. His debut feature film is the documentary about slavery *Los Negros* (2022), screened in Albright College (USA) as part of the International Day of Remembrance. Prior to this, he directed the short films *Emotistory* (2009), which won Best Animated Short at the La Boca Erótica Festival, and *Salas S.A.L.* (2011), screened internationally including at venues like the Filmoteca of Cataluña and the Lincoln Center's Film Forum in New York City. It also earned Outfest 30 and Mix NYC 25 festivals selections.
In 2010, Palacios Rojo created the *Mimeografías* project, a part of generative literature within electronic literature. His literary works include *The first book* (2013), which satirizes Artificial Intelligence in artistic creation. His writings have appeared in various European and American magazines.
Palacios Rojo's contributions to film and literature have earned him accolades such as the International Journalism Award from the International Press Club (2022) and nominations for the Carmen Awards (2022) for Best New Director and Best Adapted Screenplay.
