Guy Mandia Jr.

Guy Mandia Jr., or as the internet knows him, 'Sally Jawn', is one of the more peculiar characters you'll come across. Born in the suburbs of West Philadelphia, Guy began gracing the stage and screen at a very young age, when he sang and danced in the ensemble of Drexel Hill Middle School's production of 'You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown'. Since then, you may have seen, or heard from him in a number of different forms of media. In 2010, Guy was nominated for a Philadelphia Barrymore Award for his performance in Chuck Mee's 'Big Love' as the queer-eyed and fabulous, Guiliano. With Philadelphia being an epicenter for new and exemplary theater, Guy was given many opportunities to explore what it means to be an 'stage actor', including playing roles such as George Gibbs in 'Our Town' and Al in 'A Chorus Line'. After two years of studying Acting and Ballet at Temple University, Guy was offered the role of 'Action' in the Broadway National Tour of West Side Story (Please note that this tour was the last iteration of the Bernstein/Robbins bible version of the production). After approximately 2 years on the road, Guy moved back to NYC to pursue his dream in the music industry. He went on to work on projects with critically acclaimed artists like James Blake, Kygo and several more. Most notably, contributing to the Grammy Award Winning Album 'The Carters' featuring Jay-Z and Beyonce. After a 3 year hiatus from music and a couple of years with the 'Manly Things (sort of)' Podcast, executive produced by David Corenswet (Superman), Guy began his new venture in the entertainment industry, Voice Acting. Working under the mentor-ship of the Legendary, Mimi Maynard, he has been featured in several English dubs of hit shows like, 'Love is Blind' and 'The Clubhouse'.
