Biography

Max Goldentul is a skillful and passionate Cinematographer with extensive industry experience, over five years of training, and proven success in the art form. Adept in overseeing all aspects of this role today, Max got his start while he was studying Communication at the University of Louisville. Bringing forth the ability to collaborate with others and prioritize the goals of the project , he took a music video production course in 2019 where he first became hooked on capturing cinematic pictures. Working together with music artists local to the Louisville scene, including party punk band, Anemic Royalty, metal maniacs, Plague IX, and drag queen/punk star Sophia Santana, Max brought their lyrics and melodies to life with exceptional visuals. In order to refine his skills as a Director of Photography, he switched to the Electrical department in 2022 and built his way up from a set lighting technician to a Gaffer. Learning industry standard lighting equipment and techniques, he was able to motivate light to convey emotions and complete projects more efficiently. Now, with a hunger for telling visual tales, Max is enthusiastic and committed to creating thought provoking cinema.
