Kyle Nudo

Kyle Nudo is an award-winning theatre and film producer and performer, and former U.S. House of Representatives candidate based in the United States of America and working internationally on Broadway and across the West End, and Hollywood.

Kyle has created theatrical work for audiences across 47 states and around the world, producing projects that span new musical theatre, reinvented classics, children’s theatre, immersive events, and visually ambitious performance experiences. In 1998, he co-founded the Culver City Public Theatre, an organization dedicated to providing high-quality, free classical theatre to the Greater Los Angeles community.

His producing credits include the sold-out London production of The Ballad of the Cosmo Café; the long-running Los Angeles rock ’n’ roll horror/circus cabaret series Halloween Hullaballoo; the UK West End production of Heathers The Musical; and the UK national tour of Saturday Night Fever for Bill Kenwright Limited. Kyle has collaborated with leading UK theatre organizations including Donmar Warehouse, Lyric Hammersmith Theatre, and Adam Blanshay Productions, contributing to productions including Sweat, Europe, Leave to Remain, Ghost Stories, and 1927’s The Animals and Children Took to the Streets.

In the United States, Kyle has worked with major global entertainment organizations including Universal Pictures, Smokehouse Pictures, NBC Universal Television/NBC Studios, American Broadcasting Company, CBS Entertainment Production, Outpost Farm Productions, Wild Animal Productions, Jackhole Industries, and The Walt Disney Company. He has produced more than 40 live theatrical productions, including All’s Well That Ends Well, The Government Inspector, The Scams of Scapin, The Cherry Orchard, The Braggart Soldier, An Enemy of the People, and Private Lives. He also created the Children’s Popcorn Theatre series and its inaugural production of Rumpelstiltskin, as well as three short theatrical films and the feature film The Wicksboro Incident.

Kyle’s work has earned recognition from Broadway World, the LA Weekly Theatre Awards, Stage/Scene LA, the Hollywood Film Festival, and the New York Film and Video Festival.

Beyond producing, Kyle has dedicated his career to building a more sustainable and equitable entertainment industry. His advocacy for #WageDignity and economic justice in the arts has included initiatives such as Re-Imagine LA Theatre, and he has been invited to speak internationally at industry conferences, academic forums, and theatre leadership discussions, including The Stage’s 'Future of Theatre' conference. In 2026, Kyle expanded his commitment to public service by launching a campaign for election to the United States House of Representatives for his home district in Illinois (IL-15), bringing his experience as a creative entrepreneur, workforce advocate, and community leader into the national conversation around economic opportunity, cultural investment, and rebuilding trust between institutions and the communities they serve. Kyle was raised in a working-class home and comes from farming stock. His campaign slogan, "Let's restore the American Dream" spoke to his dedication to enriching the lives of the working class. 'We must restore the power of a single income to do what it once could: raise a family, own a home, build generational wealth, take time to live and vacation, and retire with dignity.' was a constant message of this 2026 US Congressional campaign.

Kyle’s education includes four degrees and multiple professional certificates the University of London, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama; Millikin University; the University of California, Paul Merage School of Business; the DeVos Institute of Arts Management at the University of Maryland; Independent Theatre Council; and the Stage One Commercial Producer’s Workshop.
