Cheryl Anne Leibert was born in Hartford, CT. She attended Skidmore College for her undergraduate degree in a double major of theater and psychology. She is now in her last semester at The Actors Studio in New York City getting her masters in acting.

Graduated from the Actors Studio Drama School in May 2005 (MFA in acting)

Her father, Richard is a lawyer in Hartford, CT. And her mother, Joyce is a Guidance Counselor at Conard High School. She has two sisters, Debbi (who is two years older) and Sarah (who is three years younger)

She went to Hall High School. Did community theater and some theater at her high school.
