Kelty MacLeod was born on June 11, 1922 in Perth, Scotland, UK. She was an actress, known for The Brave Don't Cry (1952), Kidnapped (1952) and Murder in the Cathedral (1951). She was married to Denys Parsons. She died in 1976 in Portsoy, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, UK.

Most famous for her readings of verse and prose on radio, and her verse drama and ballads to the accompaniment of Celtic harp (Clansach). Her husband Denys Parsons was the son of Viola Tree.
