- Zoltan Takacs was born in Hungary. He is known for Man v. Animal (2017), National Geographic Explorer (1985) and Kenny and Zoltan's Venom Quest (2012).
- World expert on venomous snakes and wildlife photographer. Studied at the Albert Szent-Gyorgyi School of Medicine, Semmelweis Medical School and University of California (UCLA), then obtained his Ph.D. on evolutionary studies on cobra venom from Columbia University. He established Columbia's first herpetology course. Also an aircraft pilot and scuba diver.
