Cashae Monya

Up until the pandemic, Monya was primarily focusing on performing onstage in theaters all over San Diego including the La Jolla Playhouse, SD Rep and the Old Globe. After winning the 2019 Craig Noel Actor of the Year award (two previous Craig Noel award wins, seven total nominations), she decided it was time for a bigger challenge. For the past few years she has been auditioning more and more for television and film. She has found great success as a commercial actress, booking nine commercials in 2020 alone. Brands she has represented include: Mike Hard's Lemonade, Kajabi, Self Finance Inc., Viejas Casino & Resort, Ithaca College, Snapchat, TruEarth and many more. Her commercial for Sugar Me Smooth was a viral sensation with over one million views on Instagram. She is the title character, "Meekah" on a streaming educational show for preschoolers.
