Gregg Frost

Gregg Frost is an American filmmaker, screenwriter, and the founder of FrostByte Film LLC. He began his career in the film industry through carpentry, designing and constructing theater and film sets-experience that provided a strong, hands-on foundation in visual storytelling and production design. His early work includes notable contributions to Sam Akina’s Bullets, Blood & a Fistful of Ca$h (2006), a project that solidified his passion for filmmaking and led him to pursue directing and writing. Frost went on to formally develop his craft, earning a Digital Media degree from Bates Technical College and a Bachelor’s degree in Filmmaking from Olympic College. In addition to writing, producing, and directing narrative projects, he has also worked on several documentary productions, bringing a grounded, observational approach to real-world storytelling. His filmmaking blends practical production experience with a visually grounded approach shaped by both narrative and documentary work.
