Biography

Daniel Harding was born on August 31, 1975 in Oxford, England, UK. He is an actor, known for Chloe (2009), Inside Llewyn Davis (2013) and The Whistlers (2019).

He was awarded the CBE (Commander of the Order of the British Empire) in the 2021 Queen's New Years Honours List for his services to Music. He is a conductor abroad.

By age 21, he was conducting the Berlin Philharmonic and was the youngest conductor in the history of the BBC Proms.

After turning 40, he took flight training. He is an Airbus pilot for Air France on medium-haul flights across Europe and North Africa for about one week per month.
