- Lamont Magee was born in Los Angeles, California. He is the cousin of Major League Hall of Famer, Eddie Murray. His mother, Brenda Murray, passed away in May 2002.
He attended William Howard Taft High School in Woodland Hills, CA where he starred in basketball. Magee attended Taft at the same time as actresses Lisa Pepper and Meredith Bishop and Ex-MLB player, Gabe Kapler.
Attended UCLA where he majored in Sociology.
