Sagar Surana is best known for his performance in The House (2023) and in the music video An’Al Haq by Inayat. He is a Los Angeles based actor whose work spans across film and theatre. Born in India, Surana grew up between India and Seattle, bringing a cross cultural perspective to his work. He began performing in theatre at a young age and continues to appear in stage and screen productions as an adult in both Seattle and Los Angeles.
His feature film The House (2023), shot in Seattle, earned him the award for Best Supporting Actor at the Miami Sci-Fi Film Festival.
His theatre credits include Hills Like White Elephants, based on the short story by Ernest Hemingway, performed at the Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum, the oldest repertory theatre in Los Angeles, as well as It’s Just A Wedding at the Santa Monica Playhouse.
His film Chamber X premiered at the Beverly Hills Film Festival this year. Upcoming, his short film Dasher, in which he plays the lead role of Samir, is set for release in 2026. Sagar continues to pursue work across film and theatre while aiming to grow as an artist and contribute to stories that highlight South Asian voices.
