The exciting thing about wrestling is the adrenaline rush when you are out in the ring. Even before the stadium gets packed, there is a certain air about the place, an electricity. You get addicted to the feeling and you just begin to want it.

I got into modeling primarily as a fluke. My mom and Granny coerced me into going to a Seventeen Magazine national modeling search when all I wanted to do was kick around the soccer ball in the front yard! I resentfully put on a dress and went, arms crossed and pretty annoyed. Once we showed up, there were about 500 girls standing in line. I was thinking to myself that we were all crazy for being there and surely I would not get picked.

I remember being in 5th grade and I was in love with this little 4th grade boy named William. I literally chased him around and asked him to marry me on the football field with a plastic ring out of a gumball machine. Steadfast, he said no. That didn't stop me so I proceeded to ask out every single boy in the 6th grade! They all said no too. I was devastated. But once I got into high school, I met a sweet guy that I ended up having a long term relationship with.

A few times people have recognized me. However it was when I was with WWE and running late for an airplane, that's when they would be like "Lauren! Can you take a quick picture?" I would be like, "I'm gonna miss my flight!" But I always took the chance and took a picture. If not for the supportive fans, who is watching you as an actor and cheering you on? Nothing changes in your life, unless you let it. I'm still the same person, I don't ever want "fame" to affect me in a negative way. I hope to stay humble, that's a priority.
