Agume is widely recognized for his role in the feature film Ssekukkulu, ' The Ugandan Christmas ', a performance that further expanded his visibility among audiences in Uganda and across the region.

In 2024, he represented Uganda as the country's sole finalist at the Africa Monologue Challenge, marking a significant international milestone in his career.
