Javier Bódalo was born on June 24, 1990 in Madrid, Madrid, Spain. He is an actor, known for The Night of the Virgin (2016), The Devil's Backbone (2001) and Ghost Graduation (2012).

His artistic name became after a confusion in the payments of The Devil's Backbone (2001). In that movie (in which he was credited under his real name, Javier González Madrigal) were two actors called Javier González (a very common name in Spain), he and Javier González Sánchez. Because a mistake, the payments were made in reverse.

Has one brother named Juan González. Parents are Daniel González and Pilar Madrigal.

Second grandnephew of José Bódalo. His maternal grandmother was José's cousin.
