Biography

After reaching a Partner / Head of Practice position in management consulting in her 30s, Nadia quit the corporate world, graduated from drama school and redirected her path to theater. She performed in more than twenty and directed four theater productions, her work was recognized by national and international theater festivals. Nadia's film directorial debut - short film Promise (2023) - co-directed with Ralph Guzzo ) - gained recognition at multiple international film festivals.

Nadia's focus as a filmmaker lies within topics of female self-discovery and freedom, of being 'reborn' in your later years. She anatomizes how women are being categorized, imposed on what they should be at a certain age, a certain life stage, in a certain culture.

Her films have a non-conventional way of storytelling in terms of absence of dialogue, visual aesthetics, non-linear structure and atonal music.
