Biography

Ana Trinidad is a Production Coordinator born in the Dominican Republic and shipped back and forth between New York and La Capital for the first years of her life. Ana first entered the entertainment industry as an actor. She attended the rigorous performing art conservatory at Circle in the Square Theatre School. After finishing Circle in the Square, she worked as an artist teacher with New York City schools and after-school programs teaching writing and acting workshops to kids.

Ana was also the Coordinating Producer for the 1st and 2nd Annual Howl! Festival, a two-day outdoor street festival that takes place in Tompkins Square Park with fourteen hours of live entertainment and arts and craft workshops for children of all ages as part of the Howl! Festival sponsored by the Federation of East Village Artist (FEVA). As part of the 1st annual Howl! Festival, Ana produced and co-directed Miguel Pineros Sideshow, which showcased at the legendary Nuyoricans Poets Cafe. In 2004 Ana teamed up with Juan for the first time and Co-Produced Juicy which was an official selection of the 2004 New York International Latino Film Festival. Since 2004 Ana has played the role of Coordinating Producer on Four other short film three of which have played in Festivals Nation Wide.

Ana is also the recipient of the prestigious New Voices Fellowship Award provided by the Academy of Educational Development to develop a media justice toolkit for non-profit organizations. In March of 2008 she began work on her first feature Film. Ana is one of the founders of New York Tributary, an art movement that brings together various artistic disciplines by concentrating on the process and the message of the artwork.
