Anderlyn Smith has a journey as distinctive as her name. Raised in the theatre, she developed a passion for storytelling rooted in purpose, positivity, and human connection.
Anderlyn earned her BFA from North Carolina A&T State University, where she honed her craft with the intention of continuing her studies abroad as a Fulbright Scholar. When the pandemic altered those plans, she relocated to Los Angeles, where she has been steadily building her career.
She has booked several national commercials and has appeared in short films and stage productions. Anderlyn also completed a festival run with a self-produced and directed short film, further expanding her work behind the camera.
In addition to acting, Anderlyn has worked in producing and arts leadership. She served as Program Manager for the Hillman Grad Foundation and most recently produced Season Two of the NAACP-nominated podcast Legacy Talk with Lena Waithe.
A dedicated student of the craft, Anderlyn continues her training at The Last Acting Studio and regularly sharpens her cold reading skills at The Broadwater's First Draft. She is committed to meaningful storytelling and looks forward to continued growth in her acting and producing career.
