Biography

Warren Washington was born on August 28, 1936 in Portland, Oregon, USA. He was married to Mary Curtis. He died on October 18, 2024 in Denver, Colorado, USA.

At Oregon State University, he received a bachelor's degree in physics and a master's degree. He completed his doctorate in meteorology at Penn State.

He was a meteorologist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research for more than 50 years. He helped develop one of the first computer models for forecasting climate change possibilities.
