Mary Pelloni
Mary Pelloni is an American television producer, showrunner, director, writer, and development executive known for creating and producing a wide range of reality series, documentaries, talk shows, comedy specials, and live event programming across major networks and platforms.

Pelloni currently serves as Executive Producer of Video & Social Media for PMC, where she leads the development and production of editorial and branded video initiatives, including filmmaker interviews, red carpet coverage, industry programming, and original digital series. Her work includes collaborations and productions connected to major studios and streamers, including Netflix, Warner Bros., HBO, Universal, and Apple TV.

Over the course of her career, Pelloni has produced and run numerous unscripted series and specials for networks including TLC, Discovery Channel, Travel Channel, FOX, Showtime, Comedy Central, WE tv, E!, and YouTube. She is widely recognized for creating and launching the hit reality franchise Bridezillas, which became one of WE tv’s highest-rated original series and led to an exclusive development deal with the network. Her additional television credits include DC Cupcakes, Secret Princes, Extreme I Do’s, Niecy Nash’s Wedding Bash, Single in the City: Atlanta, Ghost Loop, Date My Grandma, and the horror documentary The Curse of Lizzie Borden, which received a Gold Telly Award for Best Horror Documentary.

Pelloni has also produced major television events and red carpet programming, serving as showrunner for Billboard Women in Music, Billboard Latin Music Week, and the Billboard Grammys Red Carpet, while also launching the Billboard News video franchise and producing behind-the-scenes series exploring the making of major music videos. Beyond television, Pelloni has produced live performance and entertainment projects involving global artists including Shakira, Kanye West, Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, J. Balvin, Pharrell, Zara Larsson, Marshmello, and Khalid.

Earlier in her career, Pelloni produced and developed national talk shows and specials including The Fran Drescher Talk Show, The Roseanne Talk Show, and The Sally Jessy Raphael Show, working closely with iconic personalities including Roseanne Barr, Oprah Winfrey, and Bette Midler. She also executive produced and directed two Showtime stand-up comedy specials with legendary comedian Paul Mooney, Jesus Was Black and So Was Cleopatra and It’s the End of the World, and served as co-executive producer on Secret Celebrity, a hidden camera series for E! starring Kim Kardashian and Nick Lachey.

Internationally, Pelloni served as Senior Producer for Universal Television International in Amsterdam, where she developed and produced variety and talk programming for German and Dutch television while discovering new on-air talent.

Pelloni began her career in Detroit at age nineteen as an intern on the popular morning program Kelly & Company at WXYZ-TV, quickly rising from production assistant to producer while completing her studies at Wayne State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Film Production.

Her work has received several industry honors, including a National Arts and Entertainment Journalism Award for the interview "Why Netflix’s Adolescence Had a ‘No Dicks’ Policy," a Gold Telly Award for Best Horror Documentary for The Curse of Lizzie Borden, and an Essence Film Festival Jury Award for the short film Own the 8-Count.

Audiences knew Roseanne (from her sitcom) as a poor woman, and that's how she made that show work. Then, she showed up on her talk show with liposuction, a face lift and wearing $10,000 outfits. The audience felt disconnected.
