Biography

Michel Bordeleau is a multi-instrumentalist and singer: guitar, mandolin, banjo, fiddle, percussion and podorythmy. Active for thirty years in the world of traditional music, with over twenty albums in his career, he never ceases to renew and innovate. For many, he is an important link between the old and new generations of musicians. Co-founder of the group 'Manigance' in 1982, he joined the legendary group 'Les Nouvelles Sonorités Joliettaines' in 1985. An experimental laboratory in the history of the 'Bottine Souriante for' its musical influence. In 1987, at the age of 23, he joined the 'Bottine Souriante' and participated for 15 years, until 2003.
